Join us on January 19th for a free webinar on Nondestructive Evaluation for Tunnels, Pipes, and Conduits, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (MT). Two of our experts will discuss the Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods that are used for assessing the condition and geometry/makeup of various types of underground structures that include tunnel liners, concrete and steel pipelines, and conduits.
NDE methods can be used to look for voids behind conduits (such as dam outflow tunnels and grouted water pipes) and can also be used to measure current concrete thickness, rebar details, joint integrity, and to map out areas of delamination, erosion, or other degradation for both forensic as well as quality assurance purposes. The NDE methods to be discussed in this webinar will include radar, impact echo, surface waves, and slab impulse response.
